The program is designed to help get those people that don’t necessarily have any immigration law experience the tools and knowledge they need to begin taking pro bono asylum representations. For those who have practiced in this area of law before, it also presents an opportunity to refresh your knowledge with the help of a real pro.
Ayodele Gansallo, Esq., LLM, from HIAS PA is our presenter. Having initially qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales, Ms. Gansallo has been working on immigration and nationality issues exclusively with non-profit organizations both here and in the U.K. for over twenty years. She is currently a senior attorney with HIAS PA. Ms. Gansallo joined the organization in 1998 following completion of her LLM at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and now focuses her practice on complex litigation before the U.S. Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, Federal District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
